Sometimes there are just no words (and okay I admit sometimes I’m lazy too… kidding) so I’m doing this series, “Visual Diary” where I can share to you guys an experience, an event, my mundane day, or even my thoughts, visually through photographs. I’m gonna be babbling sometimes in between photos but yes… not so much.
Last Friday was a dream. A great break from my daily life in the urban jungle. I woke up extra early than usual, around 6am, and yes, that is extra early for a night owl like myself, and rushed to get ready for the trip. Miguel and his blockmates planned a trip to Anvaya and I came along with them.
Road trip. Food trip. Warm sun-kissed skin. Sparkling pool water. Laughter. Friends. Puto bumbong by the sunset drenched beach. Read more to see our calming adventure.
I mentioned earlier that I woke up super early and rushed to get ready right? Well, I wasn’t able to prepare my stuff the night before so the time for eating breakfast was spent on packing quickly instead. We stopped over real quick along NLEX instead and ate quickly at KFC. Grabbed some funshots on the go, too.
Are we there yet?
Touchdown, Anvaya! My superman carrying all our bags. He wouldn’t let me carry mine.
The boys’ mini reunion.
What welcomed us upon entering deeper into the clubhouse. What a lovely view… and the water looks so welcoming given that it was so hot that day.
Raging sunrays calls for lots and lots of sunblock!
The company <3
In all honesty, I’ve never seen a beach so clean and calm. I haven’t explored a lot of beaches yet though, the best one I’ve been to was Hundred Islands. Also clean and calm, but quite scary probably because each island feels so isolated from civilization.
Loving my view from here.
Little oopsie my bikini tag is showing moment right here. Haha.
Does this look majesticcasual looking enough? Featuring the clear sparkly water?
After swimming in the pool, we decided to eat some lunch while waiting for the sun to calm down so we can swim in the beach. The smoked salmon carbonara was so delish!
We shot some hoops by the shore before indulging in the beach. You can actually do a lot of other stuff, there was a space where you could play football, volleyball, and there were also kayaks you could rent!
Darkness came, we showered, and went home. That was basically how my Friday went down. It’d be nice to have more days like this!
How about you guys? How did you spend your Friday just a few days ago? Tell me in comments below!
Last friday we had our feastday in school. Im one of the officers sa batch kaya our teacher told us to go buy some prices for the games. We walked from school to savemore pero close pa kasi 7 palang then we waited until it opened, we even saw a cutie while waiting but puregold opened first kaya ayun dun nalang kami. But we had to go back to savemore for ice pero wala, then we went to hyper wala rin we went to 7eleven pero wala pa rin so super hassle. Kulang nalang libutin namin laoag that time. Bumalik nalang kami sa school. Good thing when we got back pinag meryenda na kami (foods na dinala rin namin). Then we ate carbonara and lasagna for lunch. Super busog kami. Good thing our principal let us out at around two pm so my friends and i had time to go and have coffee. It was really fun kasi pinaglakad ko rin friends ko from the coffee shop to our school eh medyo malayo lol. I hope you can visit ilocos norte too. We have beautiful beaches here and cool tourist spots! :)
Wow sounds like you had a really tiring Friday! Good thing you were with friends so I guess that makes it more bearable hahaha. Maybe soon! I don’t really travel much. Hehe.

Sweet niyo ni Kuya Miguel and looks like you guys had so much fun which is good. Regarding your question, well my friday was kinda plain here in LA. Yas i’m over here 😂 Hehe just spent it with my relatives. I miss Anvaya! Been there 2 years ago. You’re growing more beautiful ate idaaa in and out ❤️
Aw thank you so much for the compliment! You should enjoy your stay at LA! I’ve always wanted to go there! :)
I went to school and didn’t have much things to do. Hahaha. Just read Percy Jackson. The series is awesome. I recommend reading the series. Hehe. :) We got home pretty late since my mom still ran a few errands. Sad part is,most of my friends are out since they went on a camping. Which makes my Friday a lot peaceful than usual. Hahaha. Glad you had fun last Friday. Hope to see more of this soon. :) Great photos btw. :)
Love your photos! Glad to see you unwind, Ida! :)

im glad you guys enjoyed anvaya! spent my last two summers there, pretty enjoyable. you oughta go to el nido, though. the beaches (and overall travel experience) are on a whole different level :)
ate ida, we’ve been here and I just wanted to share my cute story hehehe. We were at the beach and yes looking good and fresh. Heading back to our room, I decided to post on instagram, then there’s this guy who dm-ed me na nakita daw niya ko. Nagtaka ako how did he know me, sabi niya, nakita daw niya ko sa beach kaya naghanap daw siya sa ig, then i scanned he’s profile. He looked decent and he’s cute. I just feel so bad after ng anvaya trip namin, di narin kami nagusap. What happened in Anvaya, stays in anvaya.
Whaaat you guys should’ve continued the conversation in the DM! Oh well, there’s a lot of fish in the sea anyway! ;)
Hi Ida! This is my first time to visit your blog and definitely won’t be the last. I am amazed by your simplicity and creativity. You inspired me to wear high shorts, because I was demotivated to go to the beach due to stretch marks. I got it from puberty and losing weight. Thank you! ;)
Hi ate Ida!!! Your shots are so good, hindi sila nakakasawang tignan ulit!! 😍💕
A good blog! I will bookmark a few of these..
You are your boyfriend Miguel Wycoco are relationship goals. Looking at the pictures, he looks like a really sweet, kind, and generous guy… it’s like you guys were made for each other! :)
